Express Out-of-State Moves
Defintion
Express Out-of-State moves are moves that leave Washington State and head directly to the new state being moved to. These are also exclusive moves, meaning that no other customer's items will share space in the truck.
Minimum Cargo requirement
Cargo must be a minimum of 323 cubic feet (equivalent to a Nissan NV high roof van)

Pay Structure
Payment for Express Out-of-State moves will be made in 3 separate installments:

Deposit: 30% of estimated quote

Due after loading and before driving to next location: 50% of estimated quote

Due upon completion of the move: 20% of estimated quote plus any additional costs
The move is considered complete when:
a) The final item is unloaded from the truck and placed in the area of your choosing​
b) You provide the final signature on our contract for services
Cancellations & Reschedules

Cancellations made at least 7 calendar days before the move date will be refunded the deposit.

Cancellations made with less than 7 calendar days before the move date will forfeit the deposit.

If you need to reschedule for any reason, we will do our best to accommodate the new date/time requested.

There is no fee for the first reschedule if made at least 72 hours before the move date.

Additional reschedules, or any made with less than 72 hours notice, will result in a rescheduling fee of $150 per instance.

Rescheduling fees are non-refundable and must be paid before scheduling the new move date.

Multiple reschedules may result in termination of your contract for services and forfeiture of your deposit.
If anything changes prior to your move, please contact us as soon as possible.

Binding estimate
Express Out-of-State moving quotes are presented as a fixed cost for services. This cost is based on the size and distance of your move and already factors in fuel, mileage, lodging, and labor costs. If a rental truck is needed to fulfill the job, the cost will be included in the quote as well as the cost of flights for the movers to return home. Fixed costs help with budget planning since the figure will remain the same throughout the entire move unless adjustments are made to the move.

The cost will be adjusted if:
a) items and/or locations are added or subtracted after the initial estimate is issued
b) poor planning or unforeseen conditions cause us to fall behind schedule and require us to pay for overnight lodging (i.e. walk paths or furniture not cleared, small items not packed, construction, road closures, elevator malfunctions, etc.)
c) plastic wrap or other prep is requested after the estimate is issued
d) a rental truck and flights home for the movers become necessary to fulfill the needs of the move

You will be given the opportunity to accept or decline the adjusted cost before continuing your move. If you decline, we cannot perform the extra work requested.
