Moving Policy

Local Moves 

Deposit

25% deposit of estimated cost is required for booking.
 

Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • Cancellations made at least 24 hours before the move date will be refunded the deposit. 

  • Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice before the move date will forfeit the deposit. 

 

  • If you need to reschedule for any reason, we will do our best to accommodate the new date/time requested.

  • There is no fee for the first reschedule.

  • Additional reschedules will result in a rescheduling fee of $50 per instance.

  • Rescheduling fees are non-refundable and must be paid before scheduling the new move date.

  • Multiple reschedules may result in termination of your contract for services and forfeiture of your deposit.

 

If anything changes prior to your move, please contact us as soon as possible.

Time minimums

2 hr minimum for all local moves

​After the 2 hour mark, you will be charged in 15 minute increments.

Start & End time

The clock begins when we arrive and ends after the last item is unloaded​ and you provide the final signature on our contract for services.

Non-binding estimate

While we will give as accurate of an estimate as possible, this is only an estimate and NOT the final cost.  Final cost is calculated by actual time worked rounded to the next quarter hour after the 2 hour minimum is met. This final cost could end up being less or more than the estimated cost.  

Factors that could cause the final cost to significantly differ from the estimated cost include: 

a) items being added after the initial estimate is issued

b) poor planning or unforeseen conditions that obstruct access to your belongings and/or our truck (i.e. walk paths or furniture not cleared, small items not packed, construction, road closures, elevator malfunctions, etc.)

c) plastic wrap or other prep is requested after the estimate is issued

You will be given the opportunity to accept or decline the adjusted cost before continuing your move. If you decline, we cannot perform the extra work requested.

Payment

Payment is due IMMEDIATELY upon completion. The move is considered complete when:

  1. The final item is unloaded from the truck and placed in the area of your choosing​

  2. You provide the final signature on our contract for services

Payment forms accepted

Cash, debit, credit, PayPal, Venmo, Cash App, Zelle, check. 

Processing fees may apply for electronic payments.
